Here we go, the last post of this amazing Italian south tour, today I am in Basilicata, in another UNESCO world heritage spot: "I Sassi di Matera". This place is suspected to be among the first human settlements in Italy, here people can say that they are still living in the same houses of their ancestors (9000 years ago). These houses are generated by the calcarenitic rock itself, and the streets in some parts, often run on top of other houses.

The feelings walking around this ancient city is always the same, sadness and happiness at the same time, I can't explain it. If you have been there tell me what you think about it.

The look...ehm, I combined my tights addiction+easy shoes to put on and of (we had to drive 1000km to reach my home town, and when I am Copiloting I'm always barefoot)+ 1000 layers cause, once it was warm and sunny, once cold and rainy... it had been a strange day.

Eccoci con l'ultimo post di questo belissimo tour nel sud Italia, oggi sono in Basilicata, in un altro sito UNESCO: I Sassi di Matera. Questo posto si sospetta sia tra i primi insediamenti italiani, qui le persone possono dire di vivere ancora nelle stasse case dei loro antenati (9000 anni fa). Queste abitazioni sono state scavate nella roccia calcarica stessa, e le strade in alcuni punti corrono sopra i tetti. Le sensazioni, percorrendo questi vicoli, sono sempre le stesse, gioia e tristezza allo stesso tempo, non riesco a spiegarlo. Se ci siete stati anche voi ditemi che ne pensate.

Il look... ehm, ho unito la mania per le calze, con agevolezza di mettere e togliere le scarpe (dovevamo guidare 1000 kilometri per raggiungere la mia città natale, e quando sono copilota sono sempre scalza), con 1000 strati, perchè un momento c'era il sole e faceva caldo, l'attimo dopo pioveva e faceva freddo...è stata una giornata strana.
