I am sorry, I promised to get into the Autumn spirit, but while I am in Crete it is almost impossible! Here are still over 20 degrees Celsius during the day...
This was absolutely my passpartout dress of the summer, I worn it for one wedding, one baptism and for everydaylife! It is very versatile cause it has an elegant colour and it is decorated with pearls, so that with the right jacket, shoes and bag can turn into the category of 'special occasions' dresses; on the other hand, combined with boots or sandals and shirts it is perfect for anywhere.
The location is Analipsi, next to Hersonissos. Slowly slowly the island is getting empty, and walking around, even in turistic places, is refreshing.


Scusatemi, avevo promesso di immergermi nello spirito autunnale, ma stando a Creta, ciò è impossibile! Qui sono ancora oltre 20 gradi...
Questo è stato sicuramente il mio vestito passpartout dell'estate, l'ho indossato per un matrimonio, per un battesimo e nella vita di tutti i giorni! E' super versatile, perchè ha un colore elegante ed è adornato da perle, quindi con la giusta giacca, borsa e giusto paio di sandali, può facilmente rientrare nella categoria degli abiti per le occasioni speciali; però abbinato a stivali o sandali e camicia diventa perfetto per il quotidiano.
La location oggi è Analipsi, vicino a Hersonissos; pian piano l'isola si sta svuotando e fare camminate, anche in posti turistici, è davvero rigenerante.

Photoshoot with flamingo?! Check!!! My poor flamingo was lying under my bed all the Summer, I know that for most of the people is already Autumn, but here in Greece this was the weather of three days ago; and I had the opportunity to shoot with him...the trend of the Summer.
Sorry, but I am definitely IN LOVE with the colours of this post. Everything is popping out.
One tip, the top that you see is a simple foulard from Desigual, do you remember this post?! I find really clever combining foulards with bikini, if you can stay in the same tone palette, it is the right twist to give to.


Photoshoot con flamingo?! spuntato dalla lista!!! Il mio povero flamingo giaceva sotto il letto tutta l'estate, so che per molte persone è già cominciato l'autunno, ma qui in Grecia questa era la temperatura di tre giorni fa; e quindi ho colto l'occasione per scattare con lui, il trend dell'estate.
Scusatemi, ma io mi sono INNAMORATA dei colori di questo post. Sono colori così accesi che bucano lo schermo.
Un piccolo consiglio, il top che vedete è un semplice foulard della Desigual, ve lo ricordate in questo post?! Credo sia molto astuto combinare foulard e costumi da bagno, trovando la stessa paletta cromatica, i risultati sono davvero interessanti.

Goooooodday, after three days without internet, I finally managed to share this post with you. Rethymno is for sure the most beautiful city in Crete: small streets, nice shops, beautiful colours... in few words it has a good energy. In my face you can read the tiredness caused by the hot weather, but it definitely worth it. The outfit was perfect for the high temperature: jumpsuit and sandals. This jumpsuit will be in my memories forever, cause it has been one of my first tailor-experiments; originally it was my granny's apron!!!!!
P.s. if you are looking for a good place to eat: 1600 Raki Baraki is the right one, everytime that I come in Rethymno I pass by. There is delicious traditional cretan food, in a space decorated with good taste.


Ehilà, dopo tre giorni senza internet, finalmente riesco a caricare questo post. Rethymno è di sicuro la città cretese più bella: piccole stradine, bei negozietti, colori stupendi... in poche parole ha vibrazioni energetiche positive. Potete leggere sul mio volto la stanchezza provocata dal caldo, ma ne è valsa la pena. L'outfit era perfetto per l'alta temperatura: tuta e sandali. Questa tuta in particolare rimarrà sempre nel mio cuore, perchè è stata uno dei miei primi esperimenti sartoriali; originalmente era un grembiule di mia nonna!!!
P.s. se cercate un buon posticino dove mangiare: 1600 Raki Baraki è il luogo giusto, ci passo ogni volta che vengo a Rethymno. C'è buonissimo cibo tradizionale cretese in un ambiente arredato con buonissimo gusto.

The month of May has not been the best for the blog for sure. I couldn't find enough time to go to shoot, and when I could find some...it was raining...whatever! This was one of the rare sunny days. The place is one of the few big beautiful and sandy beaches close to Hersonissos: Potamos in Malia, next to the really interesting Minoic archeological site.
The look is exactly my must-have for the summer: mini dress combined with a shirt (in case of wind), and sandals.


Il mese di maggio non è stato dei migliori per il blog. Non riuscivo a trovare abbastanza tempo per andare a fare foto, e quando ne trovavo...pioveva! Questa è stata una delle rare giornate di sole.
Il posto è Potamos a Malia ed è una delle poche belle grandi spiagge sabbiose vicino a Hersonissos, e si trova vicino ad un interessantissimo sito archeologico minoico.
Il look è esattamente il mio must have per l'estate: mini vestitino abbinato a una camicia (in caso di vento) e sandali.
