Here in Patra the Carnival is something GREAT. I really suggest you to take part of it if you are in Greece. All the city is decorated with giant-papier-mache sculptures, and in every shop there is a scent of carnival. The best moments are Saturday night and all Sunday. My friends and I enjoyed just Saturday, cause unfortunately the weather was really bad.
We wanted to match together so we decided the most banal costume, to be able to find clothes for everyone: Batman and Catwoman. It is impossible to believe, but we were more or less the only ones dressed like this :-P
Another tip: almost everything was bought in "Jumbo". I use to call it "the Ikea for the poors"...like me...eheheh, here you can find EVERYTHING, and all is cheap.


Qui a Patrasso il Carnevale è qualcosa di MAGNIFICO. Vi suggerisco caldamente di partecipare se vi trovate in Grecia. La città è addobbata con sculture gigantesche di carta pesta e in tutti i negozi c'è un clima carnevalesco. I momenti migliori sono sabato sera e tutta la domenica. Io e i miei amici ci siamo goduti solamente il sabato, perchè il tempo era terribile.
Volevamo essere combinati tra noi, quindi abbiamo scelto il costume più banale per dar la possibilità a tutti di trovare i vestiti: Batman e Catwoman. E anche se sembrerà assurdo, eravamo gli unici vestiti così :-P
Un altro consiglio: abbiamo comprato quasi tutto da "Jumbo". A me piace chiamarlo "l'Ikea dei poveri"...come me...eheheh, potete trovare TUTTO e si paga pochissimo.
