I have already said a million times how much I get emotional when it comes for one of my friends' wedding. And if two years ago I had attended only three weddings in all my life, in this period I have a blast of feelings, due to my age... everyone is getting married now.
I know Gigia since high school and we never lost eachother. With her there are other two friends with which we make the perfect quartet, they are the faces that you are gonna see in the pictures.
She got married in a medieval castel close to our hometown: Castello di Zumelle. The civil rite was celebrated by the Mayor, at the foot of the castle, surrounded by nature. The aperitivo was in the inner yard of the castle (look at that great idea of the cocktails in a lamp), you could even explore one tower with the recreation of a medieval house. And the dinner\party was inside the castle.
As I told you many times, together with the money that you give to the couple, I always like to do something more personal, when it comes for one of my friends. This time we prepared an album with the pictures of the four of us during the ages. We chose the most hilarious ones with some amusing phrases written in many colours. The process was super funny as you can see.
My outfit was a red-tamer-mini-dress, and I had to wear this because nothing else would fit me 😞. It was fine till I realized that during weddings the red-dressed person is the secret lover, grrr. So this is a good tip for you to avoid bad impressions like me.
The last pic is about a game where the groom and the bride have one of each shoe in their hands and they answer the questions lifting up the correct shoe (example: who kissed first). And yes!!! She was wearing customized Converse!
Ho già detto un milione di volte quanto mi commuovo quando si parla del matrimonio di uno dei miei amici. E se due anni fa avevo partecipato solo a tre matrimoni nella mia vita, in questo periodo sono sottoposta ad una ventata di emozioni, a causa della mia età... molti miei coetanei si stanno sposando.
Conosco la Gigia sin dal liceo e non ci siamo mai perse di vista. Con lei ci sono altri due amici con cui formiamo il quartetto perfetto, sono le facce che vedrete nelle foto.
Il matrimonio è avvenuto in un castello medievale vicino alla nostra città natale: il castello di Zumelle. Il rito civile è stato celebrato dal sindaco, all'aperto, ai piedi del castello, circondati dalla natura. L'aperitivo era nel cortile interno (guardate che super idea i cocktail dentro le lampadine), si poteva anche esplorare la torre in cui era stata fatta una ricostruzione di una casa medievale. E la cena\party era dentro il castello.
Come vi ho detto altre volte, insieme ai soldi che vanno alla coppia, mi piace sempre fare qualcosa di più personale, quando si tratta di uno dei miei amici. Questa volta abbiamo realizzato un album con le foto di noi quattro negli anni. Abbiamo scelto quelle più esilaranti con alcune frasi buffe, scritte in diversi colori. Il processo è stato super divertente come potete vedere.
Indossavo un mini abito rosso da domatrice, non ho avuto molta scelta, perchè era l'unico che mi stava 😞. Tutto è andato bene fino a quando mi hanno detto che durante i matrimoni la persona in rosso è l'amante, aiuto. È un buon consiglio per evitare di brutte figure come me.
L'ultima immagine riguarda un gioco in cui lo sposo e la sposa hanno in mano le scarpe di entrambi e rispondono alle domande sollevando la scarpa corretta (esempio: chi ha baciato per primo). E sì!!! La scarpa da sposa erano delle Converse fatte per l'occasione!
