What a better post to close the year?! Snow snow and again snow. It is kind of strange for many of you, I am sure, but in Greece they actually have places where it snows! Kalavrita is one of the closest place to Patra like these ones. I definitely recommend you to go, it is soooooo charming! You can reach it by car, and in this case I suggest you to stop along the way at the monastery of Mega Spileo and the village of Zachlorou, I made an entire post HERE. Or you can go by a "rack-train" from the station of Diakopto, in this case it will be harder to stop, but you will see incredible naturalistic scenaries. Kalavrita is a small cute village with a lot of history! Above all it is connected to the second World War, cause here, almost everyone was slaughtered, but I will make a specific post about it another time. Because I had seen the village of Kalavrita so many times, we decided to go to the ski spot, higher in the mountains. And guess what?! There was snow, YASS! The ski facilities where closed, cause there wasn't enough to ski, but we had an hot chocolate in the giant chalet, and we had a great time in the snow. You can also get a chair lift to a second chalet a little bit higher, but it costs 10 euros per person, so we didn't do it.
I had all my snow-clothes at home in Italy, so I just layered with chunky socks, warm beanie, big scarf, heavy jacket and gloves.

Quale post migliore per chiudere l'annata?! Neve, neve e ancora neve. Sarà strano per molti di voi, ma in Grecia ci sono posti dove nevica! Kalavrita è uno dei più vicini a Patrasso. Consiglio vivamente di visitare questo paesino, è mooooolto affascinante! Potete raggiungerlo in macchina, e in questo caso suggerisco di fermarsi al monastero di Mega Spileo e al villaggio di Zachlorou, avevo fatto un post QUI su queste zone. Oppure potete andare con una cremagliera partendo dalla stazione di Diakopto, in questo caso sarà più difficile fermarsi, ma avrete la possibilità di godere di incredibili scenari naturalistici. Kalavrita è un piccolo villaggio molto carino e ricco di storia! Soprattutto è collegato alla seconda guerra mondiale, perché qui sono stati massacrati quasi tutti gli abitanti, ma ne farò un post più specifico un'altra volta. Visto che avevo visitato il villaggio più volte, abbiamo deciso di andare agli impianti da sci, ad alta quota. E indovinate un pò?! C'era la neve, SIIIII! Gli impianti sciistici erano chiusi, perché non ce n'era abbastanza, ma ci siamo consolati con una cioccolata calda nel grande chalet e ci siamo divertiti un sacco sulla neve. Si sarebbe potuto anche prendere una seggiovia per arrivare ad un secondo chalet un po' più alto, ma costava 10 euro a persona, quindi abbiamo evitato.
Tutti i miei vestiti da neve sono a casa in Italia, quindi la mia soluzione è stata vestirmi a strati con calzini morbidi, berretto caldo, sciarpa grande, giacca pesante e guanti.

Ok, let's spend a moment talking about how cool is having the daylight savings time?! I think my day is double, I am making sooooo many things! Yesterday for example, I recorded one room make over video, can't wait to show you, and then I still had time to take these pics upon the mountains.
For the OOTD (Outfit of the day) I chose something with a really big spring vibe: total flamingo pink with floral details (the hat and the tights), the last touch are my combat boots... you know that they are my favourite type of shoes ever.
Ok, prendiamoci un momento per parlare dell'ora legale... ma quanto tempo si guadagna?! Ho l'impressione che le mie giornate siano raddoppiate, e riesco a fare un sacco di cose! Ieri per esempio, ho registrato il riarredamento di una stanza, che non vedo l'ora di mostrarvi, e finito ciò ho avuto ancora tempo per andare a scattare queste foto in montagna.
Per il look del giorno (OOTD) ho scelto qualcosa dal sapore molto primaverile: vestito e giacca sul tono salmon-corallo e dettagli floreali (cappello e calze), l'ultimo tocco sono come al solito gli anfibi... che sapete essere le mie scarpe preferite.
Θα ήθελα να μιλήσουμε για το πόση ώρα κερδίσουμε με το καινούργιο ωράριο;! Έχω την εντύπωση πως η μέρα μου έχει διπλασιάστει, και κάνω χίλια πράγματα! Εχθές για παράδειγμα κάναμε γυρίσματα για το make over για ένα δωμάτιο, το οποίο δεν βλέπω την ώρα να σας δειξω, και μετά είχα ακόμα ώρα να βγάλω αυτές της φωτογραφίες στα βουνά.
Για το σημερινό look (ΟΟTD) επέλεξα κάτι πολύ ανοιξιάτικο: όλο το στιλ με το φλαμίνγκο ροζ χρώμα, και αξεσουάρ με λουλούδια (καπέλο και καλσόν), η τελευταία πινελιά είναι όπως πάντα τα μποτάκια μου... τα οποία, όπως ξέρετε, είναι τα αγαπημένα μου.
