Tadaaaaaan, my first Athens Fashion Week! After a lot of troubles we did it! I don't even want to talk about it, the result is that we made it.
I have seen some inspiring brands and others not so innovative, but in the end I am satisfied. I would like to underline the names: Avgousta Theodoulou (knitted pieces) and also Marios (a little bit Tudor family inspired); these two were my favourite so far. What I liked about them is that they created volumes. Fashion is all about the silhouette, and they played with interesting shapes. In any case, down here you can find some pics about almost all the catwalks, I choose the pieces that I liked most.
What do you think about MY outfit?! I felt super comfy, except for the platforms it could have been one outfit for my everyday life. I love the pop of yellow of the pumps and the jacket. About the tee... I adore it, the brand is "le motto". They have a lot of different sentences: Because words do have power; have a look in their site HERE


Tadaaaaaaan, la mia prima settimana della moda ateniese! Dopo un sacco di problemi ce l'abbiamo fatta! Non voglio nemmeno parlarne, l'importante è che ci siamo riusciti.
Ho visto marchi molto interessanti ed altri un pò meno innovativi, comunque alla fine sono stata contenta di essere andata. Vorrei sottolineare i nomi di Avgousta Theodoulou (pezzi lavorati a maglia) e di Marios (un pò ispirato alla famiglia dei Tudors); questi sono stati sicuramente i miei preferiti. Ciò che mi è piaciuto è stato il loro giocare con i volumi. La moda è tutta una questione di silhouette, e loro hanno utilizzato forme molto interessanti. Ad ogni modo, potete trovare foto di quasi tutte le sfilate, ho scelto i pezzi che mi sono piaciuti di più.
Che ne pensate del mio di outfit?! Ero super comoda, se non fosse stato per le zeppe, sarebbe potuto essere un outfit da tutti i giorni. Ciò che mi piace è lo sprizzo di colore delle scarpe e della giacca. Per quanto riguarda la T-shirt... la adoro, il marchio è "le motto". Athens Fashion Trade Show! It was my first time, it was great. There were thousands of stands mostly made in Greece. It was full of energy, a lot of new brands, two or three years old, and a bunch of traditional ones.
I was accompanied by my team: Sofia, Michalis and Tilemachos; so we could manage easilier pics and video.
Of course my favourite part has been the catwalk, I have taken some pics that you can see in this post. To get the idea of the place I will upload a video in the next days.

Athens Fashio Trade Show! Era la mia prima apparizione, ed è stato fantastico. C'erano migliaia di stands, per la maggior parte dei quali made in Greece. Un tripudio di energia, un sacco di nuovi marchi, datati due o tre anni, e moltissimi già noti.
Ero accompagnata dalla mia squadra: Sofia, Michalis e Tilemachos; così è stato molto più semplice gestire foto e video.
Naturalmente la mia parte preferita sono state le sfilate. Ho scattato qualche foto che potete vedere in questo post. Per farvi un'idea del posto caricherò un video nei prossimi giorni.
Voglio sapere se vi piaceva il mio outfit?! Camicia e giacca della nonna, fatte a mano nell'era dei tempi.

Un'atmosfera giocosa creata dai gonfiabili e dalle stampe scherzose: fenicotteri, baci, gelati e schemi geometrici. Collezione fresca. Siamo pronti ad andare al mare.








HARIS COTTON

Maybe the best collection of the exhibition. Oversized pieces, the most of them popped with amazing colours. I don't know about you, but for me the kaftano at the beach it's an evergreen.

Forse la miglior collezione della mostra. Pezzi oversized, la maggior parte dei quali esaltati da splendidi colori. Non so che ne pensiate voi, ma per me il kaftano in spiaggia è un evergreen.








CINEMA ZINAS

Amazing evening dresses. Lace, silk, and interesting cuts for the collection of Cinema. I am in love with the black and white one.

Meravigliosi abiti da sera. Pizzo, seta e tagli interessanti per la collezione di Cinema. Io sono innamorata di quello bianco e nero.








 FLT

Really interesting shapes. I could wear EVERYTHING. Something that you don't expect from Athens, new vision!

Forme interessantissime. Potrei indossare TUTTO. Qualcosa che non mi aspettavo da Atene, visione nuova!







 PRINCESS

Who doesn't like to be a princess?! They made us dream. Tell me that you love the nude one with coral details too?!


A chi non piacerebbe essere una principessa?! Ci hanno fatto sognare. Ditemi che adorate anche voi quello color carne con i dettagli corallo?!
