Keep exploring Greece and this time I highly reccomend to pass by. Today I am visiting the area of Kalavrita, to be precise Zachlorou, around 80 kilometers from Patra. The place is a scenary for a movie. There is the river, next to it, the railway lines, stone houses and everything is surrounded by the mountains. I suggest to stop by the monastry of Mega Spileo first, and than explore the village and eat something really traditional in the small tavernas.
As always, I hadn't the proper outfit (oxford shoes and light trench), cause I never decide where to go, till I am in the car, but this time I was clever enough to have one extra pair of boots and one extra sweater... goal!


Continuo ad esplorare la Grecia e raccomando al massimo questa meta. Oggi sto visitando l'area di Kalavrita ad un'ottantina di kilometri da Patrasso, per essere precisi il villaggetto di Zachlorou. Questo posto sembra essere stato costruito per lo scenario di un film. C'è il fiume, accanto ci sono i binari del treno, le casette sono di pietra e il tutto è circondato da montagne. Suggerisco di fermarsi prima al monastero di Mega Spileo e poi fare un giretto per il villaggio e gustare i cibi tradizionali delle taverne.
Come al solito non avevo l'outfit più appropriato (ballerine e trench leggero), perchè non so mai dove sono diretta fino a quando non sono in macchina, ma sta volta sono stata abbastanza furba da portarmi degli stivaletti di ricambio e un extra maglioncino!

And it's a wrap again: 30 years old, can't believe it. I wanted something special for my bday, and what more special than finding snow in Greece?! It hasn't been the easiest thing...but here it is. I had to reach the top of the highest mountain (Panachaikos), and then walk a little bit, cause the car couldn't make it. Victory!!!! The outfit...not exactly the most proper, infact at the beginning the program was to chill out in a cafe around one lake...but in any case the pic are good... sooooooo... who cares?!


E anche quest'anno è andato, e sono trenta, non ci posso credere. Volevo qualcosa di speciale per il mio compleanno, e cos'è più speciale della neve in Grecia?! Non è stata la missione più semplice...ma eccola qui. Ho dovuto raggiungere la cima della più alta montagna (Panachaikos), e poi camminare un pò, perchè la macchina non ce la poteva fare. Vittoria!!!! L'outfit?! Non esattamente il più appropriato, infatti inizialmente il programma prevedeva un comodo caffè attorno ad un lago... ma comunque le foto sono venute bene, quindi non importa.
